Tifin coaches because she is passionate about people, learning and discovery. Her clients are dynamic, involved people who are committed to stretching themselves, living fully, and contributing through their work or community involvement. Tifin works with people who are eager and ready to push further in their exploration of themselves, the world around them and the impact they are having in their personal and professional lives. She helps her clients grow into their potential, stretch their capacity for success, balance and vitality and to embrace the full adventure of their life’s journey. As a coach, Tifin is absolutely committed to her clients having the full, rich lives of their dreams. No matter where they are on their path, Tifin believes that they can enjoy greater presence, a fuller sense of purpose and have greater impact along the way. She travels alongside her clients as they discover more of what life holds for them. Tifin encourages and challenges them to step beyond the comfortable, to go for the big dreams and to be with themselves on the peaks and in the valleys. Tifin is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and has had a private practice, Life Adventure Coaching, since August 1999. She is certified through The Coaches Training Institute and is a member of the International Coach Federation. Tifin
graduated from the University of California with honors in Economics
and Psychology. After spending time traveling the US, Canada and
France, Tifin returned to CA to earn her elementary teaching credential.
Tifin taught sixth grade for five years before joining the Peace
Corps where she spent two years training teachers, developing programs
and enjoying island life in the Caribbean. Tifin’s love of
travel led her to spend a year in Costa Rica teaching, trekking
and working with a volunteer project to save the leatherback turtles.
Tifin has worked with groups in many experiential education programs
including Outward Bound and ropes courses. She has a love of adventure,
connects easily with people and has a passion for helping others
find their life’s adventure and enjoy their journey along
the way. Tifin currently coaches individuals and facilitates ropes
course leadership and team development programs with a company called
